You've all heard the story. Boy has a demon fox inside him. Boy wants to become the Hokage of the village. Boy defies the odds, survives 12 years on his own, defeats bad guy ass and makes everyone's little world a better while he's at it. Oh yeah, and boy, known as Uzumaki Naruto, is a ninja.

Haruno Sakura is one of Naruto's closest friends and his teammate, along with Uchiha Sasuke and Hatake Kakashi. When Sasuke leaves Konoha to follow Orochimaru, the three teammates are split up and train with their respective teachers for almost three years. Sakura was trained by Tsunade, a medic-nin and the current Hokage of their village. While she was considered the weakest of the team three years ago, she's determined to put in her all, to prove that she's come as far as they have. She's an accomplished med-nin and has super-strength, both thanks to her superior chakra control. Sakura's not the type of girl to take anything lying down, and she'll show everyone just how much she's grown; that she's not willing to lose anyone anymore. Especially not Sasuke-kun.

Anyway, everyone. I'm Haruno Sakura, gorgeous kunoichi at your service. I apologise for the mess I left about a kilometer back, but those guys just wouldn't leave me alone. I was going to let bygones be bygones - those soft little punches to their groins didn't count - but one of them tried to use his left arm as a weapon and that put all bets off. I've never seen a jutsu like that before, but it was weak. Please, I only look pretty and gentle - ehehe, thank you! Do you really think so? - but just let me put on my gloves.

You can send the bill to Tsunade-sama. She won the lottery just before she sent me, so she'll have plenty of money. And she won't mind a bit. In fact, I think she almost suspected it. I mean, I'm not that violent, it's just - oh, oh hold on. I need to remove this gorilla from my person.

There, much better. This way we can actually talk without anything getting in the way, hmm? I like this place, you know. It seems peaceful and quiet compared to Konoha, even if half of us seem to be here, anyway. All these new people to meet, seems easy. Maybe I'll be able to get some free time and just relax. No yelling, no people jumping across the rooftop, no wondering if you need to go and clean Naruto's apartment again before the ramen starts to rev-what the hell do you mean I still have to do that? I swear I'm going to teach him some manners someday. And what's that?
